Points of Dispensing
Points of Dispensing are locations throughout the County which could be used to distribute medications in the event of a health emergency. The Yolo County Health Department has developed this series of free online classes to teach volunteers how to assist in POD functions.
To access the online classes simply click on the link above for the desired class. It is recommended that you start with the Introduction to POD Operations class. Each class has information which builds on the class before it.
At the end of each class is a test. Please fill in your contact information and answers to the test questions. After your test is graded you will receive a certificate of completion via e-mail.
